THE BLESSING OF ENDURING LOVE

In our lives whenever we strive in faithfulness and obedience to God to be good, the devil is there to deceive and destroy.

The truth of Jesus’ enduring love can only be understood after we focus on our present disastrous reality. The Editor’s concern on the destruction of Western Covenant Nations is real. In the 1920s and 1930s we saw the beginning of Marxist deconstruction. In the 1940s was the attempt for totalitarianism to “reset” our world and implement a form of globalism. The devil’s “unclean” and evil spirit was defeated. Now we have a neo-Marxist deconstruction attempt to “reset” for a global government under the control of the United Nations – even worse than the failed League of Nations. Jesus said there would be last days; of this St. Matthew records:

Matthew 24.4, 5 and 10-13.

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.

5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ, ‘ and will deceive many.

10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

We as Covenant Nations are of The Promise and have an eternal hope and future. This does not excuse us from being “asleep”.

This happened before in the years 1934 to 1938. We need now to wake up and get real! We need to watch! (Mark 13.35-37). At this time, it is so important to read and be encouraged by Holy Scripture (2Timothy 3.16-17).

Scripture tells us what is right, how to get right and how to keep right. Let us spend some time to be encouraged:

Genesis 35.10-11

10 God said to him, “Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel. ” So, he named him Israel.

11 And God said to him, “I am God Almighty ; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will come from your body.

Exodus 19.5-6

5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,

6 you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

At present I do not believe we as Covenant Nations are acting as faithful and obedient holy nations!

Galatians 3.26-29

26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,

27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

As Covenant Nations I believe we are in grave danger. Will we be sent into “captivity” as Israel and Judah were because of unfaithfulness and disobedience 722BC and 586BC? Dreadful situations could happen before Jesus returns!

Romans 11.25-26

25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

But who are these Gentiles in our Covenant Nations?

I remind myself time and time again, giving the Father and Jesus thanks in all my prayers, for the faithfulness of Covenant Nation Britain (Ephraim) for her Ministry and Mission acknowledging Jesus’ commands over the past 400 years.

Matthew 28.18-19

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

As I reflect and remember my Ordination and the Seminary’s teaching on the Book of Common Prayer I am greatly encouraged each time I read the prayers:

VENITE, BENEDICTUS, JUBILATE DEO, CANTATE DOMINO and NUNC DIMITTIS.

In relation to the last two I am very concerned about plans against our Christian civilisations, heritages and ways of life researched in the alleged plans in the article [1] “Civilus Defendus”. Again, Hosea 7:9 is remembered. Returning to the question above – who are these Gentiles the Lord is calling?  Will they come to the Lord? We know they and their descendants were initially “blind” – unable to “see” the truth. Praise the Lord for the doctrine of effectual calling and grace.

Holy Scripture is clear and true. St Mark records Jesus’ words:

Mark 4.11-12 (cf Isaiah 6:9-10)

11 He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables

12 so that, “‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’ “

So, it is all about perceiving and understanding – there is spiritual “hearing” – those called will come to Jesus.

The sound doctrine in Scripture of the orthodox faith, the truth of The Book of Common Prayer (1662) and the 39 Articles (1562) need to be embraced again, not the liberal, postmodern, existential, neo-tolerant relevantism which slips into what the devil wants. We need to get real again. With the elect, the word of Jesus will fill their hearts. His enduring love:

Romans 10.8-17 (cf Deuteronomy 30.14; Isaiah 28.16; Joel 2.32).

8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:

9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

11 As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Those coming to Jesus are convicted.  They will come as they have been given by the Father to the Son eternally. Remember the Apostle John records: John 1.12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.  Also remember – to receive something you first have to be given something. Please read the proof:

John 5.24; 6.37, 39-40, 65

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.

40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him.”

John 17.24

24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

I now come to simply revealing the truth of Jesus enduring love – this is it:

The Apostle John records Jesus’ words:

John 15.13-16

13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last…”

I am thankful for the insight of our Editor and Editorial Team. We as Covenant Nations face a neo-Marxist deconstructionist time with global “reset” evils. May our politicians truly serve as they promised – for truth and true justice under the authority of the Queen and subject to the Power and Empire of Christ – and as Churchill said “never surrender” to total evil.
