JESUS BREATHED ON THEM

In Revelation 19 we read:

15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”  He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty

In Isaish 11.4 we read:

4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.

We see the power is in His breath in John 20.21-22.

21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 1.7 Jesus said:

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 2.2-4 we read:

2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

John 1.12 we read:

12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

When you are “breathed on” and when given the Holy Spirit you are given the right and the power to become children of GOD and greater things shall you do in His name.

John 14.12

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

How important it is that we do when Jesus did so often and pray to the Father in Spirit and in Truth.

John 4.23-24

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Worship in its root word from the Strong concordance means:

Prep in direction of; The place; time; occasion; or respect which the destination of the relation. God wants you to breathe and speak to and with Him in the Holy Spirit – Speaking in tonques.
